Gamecheck to exhibit at SBC Summit Malta 2026 as founder James Elliott takes to the Risk, Regulation & Resilience stage

SBC Summit Malta 2026 is one of those events where the industry conversation for the coming years gets set. This year's theme is 'The Future of Play', and as far as Gamecheck is concerned, the future of play has to be the future of fair play. Gamecheck will exhibit at SBC Summit Malta 2026, where founder James Elliott will address the fake game network on the Risk, Regulation & Resilience stage.

The summit runs from 28–30 April 2026 at the InterContinental Hotel Malta in St Julian's. Around 6,000 iGaming professionals will attend: operators, game providers, affiliates, regulators, fintech companies, and more. It is one of the most commercially concentrated gatherings on the European iGaming calendar, and for good reason. Malta is home to more than 350 Malta Gaming Authority-licensed companies, making it a central hub for the online gaming industry and the natural place for its most important conversations to happen.

Gamecheck will be on the exhibition floor at Booth B76. The timing is right, because no conversation about the future of play is complete without addressing the future of fair play.

James Elliott, Founder of Gamecheck, will take to the Risk, Regulation & Resilience stage on Wednesday, 29 April at 12:15 for a session titled "The Dark Side of Gaming: Exposing the Fake Game Network". The session will examine how fake games operate, the scale of the problem facing the industry, and how verification tools are changing the response.

What Gamecheck does

Gamecheck is an independent provider of tools, research, and education that helps online casino players determine whether the games they are playing are real. It also helps online casino game providers identify fake versions of their titles and protect their intellectual property, and gives online casino operators a visible, trusted signal of game integrity.

The platform offers four core products. The Gamecheck tool, the Gamecheck app, and the Gamecheck Chrome extension are all free for players, giving them multiple ways to check whether the games they are playing are real, whether they are on desktop or mobile. The Gamecheck SEAL is the operator-facing trust mark: a domain-linked QR code displayed in an operator's website footer, representing a sample of games that have been confirmed as real in collaboration with the original game providers.

The Gamecheck SEAL also plays an active role in combating phishing. Because the real Gamecheck SEAL can only be authenticated through the Gamecheck app, a copied seal cannot be used to deceive players undetected. If a fake seal is identified, Gamecheck can block it within the app and expose the operator simultaneously - making imitation not just ineffective, but traceable.

Operators interested in the SEAL can find full details at SEAL Pricing | Gamecheck

Visit Gamecheck at Booth B76

The Gamecheck team will be on the exhibition floor on both conference days. Visitors to Booth B76 can see a live demo of the Gamecheck SEAL, the verification mark that tells players and operators alike that a selection of games has been checked and confirmed as real.

The full conference agenda, including James Elliott's session, is available at SBC Summit Malta 2026 - Agenda - SBC Events
