Betsson Group Sees Strong Western Europe Growth Drive 12% Revenue Rise in Q3

Betsson Group has reported double-digit revenue growth in Q3 2025, driven by strong performance in Western Europe — particularly Italy — which delivered a 27% rise year-on-year.

Group revenue increased by 12%, reaching €893.1m compared to €799.8m in the same period last year. EBITDA rose 6% to €244.4m, while operating income climbed 7% to €199.9m. Net income for the quarter stood at €192.3m.

Western Europe was Betsson’s standout region, with Italy leading the charge as the operator continued to gain market share in both casino and sports betting. Revenue from locally regulated markets grew by 16%, accounting for 64% of the group’s total income.

In Latin America, revenue rose by 10% — propelled by record casino performance that compensated for lower sportsbook activity during the off-season.

President and CEO Pontus Lindwall highlighted the company’s diversified revenue base and ongoing innovation across products and technology: “With the customer in focus, Betsson continues to drive the digitalisation of the gaming market globally. Our strong, varied portfolio across regions and verticals reduces exposure to fluctuations in individual markets.”

Lindwall added that Q3 saw record casino revenue and significant product advancements, including the release of new gaming apps, sportsbook features such as early win payouts, and enhancements to Betsson’s proprietary platform.

Looking ahead, he said the company’s strong balance sheet will support continued investment and growth:

“I look forward with confidence to the end of the year and into 2026 with the upcoming World Cup in football, as we build on our stable profit growth and deliver long-term value for shareholders.”
