LatAm Growth Drives Record Q2 Results for Betsson Group
Total revenue for Q2 rose by 12% year-on-year to €303.7 million, supported by an 11% increase in casino revenue and a 15% rise in sportsbook revenue.

Betsson Group has reported strong second-quarter results for 2025, with record revenue from Latin America identified as a key growth driver.
Total revenue for Q2 rose by 12% year-on-year to €303.7 million, supported by an 11% increase in casino revenue and a 15% rise in sportsbook revenue. EBITDA for the quarter reached €84.1 million, an 8% uplift, while operating income also rose 8% to €69 million.
CEO Pontus Lindwall highlighted a 35% surge in Latin American revenue, led by standout performances in Peru and Argentina. Strategic sponsorships with major football clubs, including Boca Juniors, continue to underpin Betsson’s LatAm expansion plans.
“Our strategic sponsorships continue to be an important piece of our marketing strategy,” Lindwall said.
“Through our partnerships with big clubs such as Inter and Boca Juniors, we increase visibility and also take a more obvious place in the everyday life of sports – not only as a sponsor but as part of the sports experience and excitement, where we create added value for the fans, clubs and Betsson.”
For the first half of 2025, group revenue climbed 15% to €597.3 million compared to H1 2024. EBITDA rose to €161.8 million, up 8%, while operating income increased by 9% to €133 million.
Lindwall also noted the launch of a new mobile app in Argentina at the beginning of July. Meanwhile, in Belgium, the integration of Betsson’s proprietary sportsbook began with betFIRST in June. That same month, the group signed a three-year sponsorship agreement with Club Brugge to strengthen its footprint in the Belgian market.
“We are entering the third quarter with good pace and confidence,” Lindwall added.
“With a constant focus on product development, data-driven marketing and responsible gaming, we are well-placed to continue delivering profitable growth.”
