Stake Secures Front-of-Shirt Sponsorship with Club Deportivo Nublense for 2025 Season

Leading betting platform Stake has announced a sponsorship deal with Chilean Primera División club, Club Deportivo Ñublense, ahead of the 2025 season.

As part of the agreement, Stake will become the club’s front-of-shirt sponsor for a campaign that sees Ñublense competing in the Copa Libertadores for only the second time in their 109-year history. Following their finalist run in the 2024 Copa Chile, Ñublense is set to take on South America’s elite in the continent’s most prestigious domestic tournament.

The partnership highlights Stake’s ongoing commitment to Latin American football, further solidifying its presence in the region. With Ñublense joining the roster, Stake now boasts six front-of-shirt sponsorships worldwide.

Nikkita Thomas, Head of Sponsorship at Stake, commented:

"Ñublense are a fantastic club, with a rich history and great fan base. We saw a real underdog story last season as they made it to the final of Copa Chile, and their involvement in the Copa Libertadores is something we are very excited about.

“We are really passionate about expanding our footprint across Latin America, and to be a partner with one of Chile’s most prestigious teams is something we are proud of.”

Francisco Mardones, General Manager at Club Deportivo Ñublense, added:

"We are very pleased to start this agreement with Stake, a brand that shares our passion for football and innovation. This sponsorship will allow our club to continue its growth, reaching new audiences, and offering more experiences to our fans.”

This follows news that Stake has exited the UK betting market, with its focus now being on other global markets.
