Nevada Casinos Enjoy Billion Dollar Month
Total revenue for March 2021 came in at $1.07bn

While the Covid-19 pandemic and subsequent lockdown has had a significant impact on the Nevada casino industry, it appears that things are on the up for The Silver State. According to sources, Navada casinos enjoyed their first billion-dollar month in March, returning to profit levels last experienced in March of 2020.
Total revenue for March 2021 came in at $1.07bn. This is a 38.1% month-over-month increase!
Money made from slot games accounted for a large proportion of this, with $772.1m spent on land and online slot machines over the course of the month. This is a 45.5% increase, month-on-month.
Sports betting revenue came to $39.3m for March, a 23.5% increase from February. Based on a 6.14% win percentage, this suggested amounts wagered over the month came to $640.8m, again a significant month-over-month improvement when compared to February’s $553.8m intake.
