NY Sports Betting Revenue Up 75%
According to new figures released by the New York State Gaming Commission, commercial sports wagering revenue in New York jumped 75.7% year-on-year in January.

According to new figures released by the New York State Gaming Commission, commercial sports wagering revenue in New York jumped 75.7% year-on-year in January.
The organisation revealed that gross gaming revenue from sports betting stood at to $3.3m in January. This an increase of from $1.9m in 2019 and 43.4% higher than December.
Rush Street’s Rivers Casino and Resort in Schenectady processed a huge majority of these wagers, reporting $1.4m in revenue, up 79.7% from $778,997 last year. However, The del Lago Resort and Casino in Waterloo and its DraftKings sportsbook were a close second with $1.3m; more than twice as much as the $610,250 it posted in January 2020.
