British gambling addiction charity Gordon Moody has partnered with US-based treatment provider Birches Health to create a referral pathway between the two organisations, aiming to provide individuals with access to the right treatment in the right setting. This includes access to Gordon Moody’s dedicated private admissions provision.
The partnership will also facilitate the exchange of clinical expertise and best practices, enhancing the quality and innovation of care for those affected by gambling-related harm on both sides of the Atlantic.
Claire Arnold, Chair of Trustees at Gordon Moody, said:
“This partnership demonstrates our commitment to ensuring that people affected by gambling addiction can access the very best support, wherever they are. By working alongside Birches Health, we are creating clear pathways into treatment, including private specialist provision where needed, while also sharing our knowledge and clinical expertise to strengthen outcomes for individuals worldwide.”
Elliott Rapaport, Founder and CEO of Birches Health, added:
“Just as the American regulatory system has often looked to the more mature UK market for learnings, so too should leaders in the US gambling addiction treatment ecosystem. We are excited to collaborate with such a respected and experienced organisation like Gordon Moody to help ensure that modern models of clinical excellence are shared globally, and that individuals in need of specialized care can access it seamlessly, regardless of their location.”
The collaboration marks a significant step in creating international standards of care for gambling addiction, ensuring that those in need can receive expert support across borders.
