Konami Secures Vendor Licence in UAE as Nation Prepares for First Land-Based Casino
The approval positions Konami to deliver its suite of Class III RNG slot machines, online gaming content, and its flagship Synkros casino management system to the UAE market

Konami Gaming has officially received a gaming-related vendor licence from the General Commercial Gaming Regulatory Authority (GCGRA) in the United Arab Emirates, enabling the company to supply its casino games and management systems to licensed operators in the region.
The approval positions Konami to deliver its suite of Class III RNG slot machines, online gaming content, and its flagship Synkros casino management system to the UAE market—including to Wynn Resorts, which is set to launch the country’s first-ever land-based casino in early 2027.
Konami joins a growing list of internationally recognised suppliers now licensed to operate in the UAE, including Light & Wonder, IGT, Aristocrat, and Novomatic, signalling rapid regulatory development and heightened supplier interest in the region.
Commenting on the licence approval, Tom Jingoli, President & CEO of Konami Gaming, said:
“Since Konami Gaming’s inception, our global growth has been achieved with an unwavering commitment to compliance.
As the United Arab Emirates expands its economy to the regulated commercial gaming space, Konami is dedicated to supporting this market with the same integrity, innovation and excellence we bring to all 431 gaming jurisdictions we serve worldwide.”
The UAE’s move toward regulated gaming marks a significant shift in the region’s entertainment and tourism landscape, and Konami’s entry signals strong confidence in the long-term potential of this emerging market.
