Hasbro Strikes New iGaming Partnerships for Monopoly and Iconic Game Brands
Following a strategic review, Aristocrat, Evolution, Galaxy Gaming, and Bally’s have all been chosen to develop a range of casino games based on Hasbro’s intellectual property.
Hasbro, the maker of the iconic Monopoly board game, has unveiled a series of new multi-year partnerships with leading names in the iGaming industry.
Following a strategic review, Aristocrat, Evolution, Galaxy Gaming, and Bally’s have all been chosen to develop a range of casino games based on Hasbro’s intellectual property.
Evolution, which previously collaborated with Hasbro on Monopoly Live and Monopoly Big Baller, will continue to develop online live casino and slot games. Under the new licensing deal, the company will expand beyond Monopoly to also include titles inspired by “Hasbro Games.”
Meanwhile, Galaxy Gaming will focus on casino table games featuring themes from Monopoly, Yahtzee, and Battleship.
“The team and I are incredibly excited to bring the Hasbro Games brands to all our various brands,” said Todd Haushalter, Chief Product Officer at Evolution.
“I think Monopoly is the world’s best casino game brand, and we can do so many great things with it, and, of course, with many other Hasbro Games brands. It is hard to believe, but these are still the early days of online gaming, and with Hasbro, we will forge a new chapter in our industry.”
Aristocrat will exclusively develop land-based slot games based on Monopoly, while Bally’s will operate as a B2C casino brand, also centred around Monopoly content.
Hasbro’s collaboration with the gambling sector spans nearly three decades, with the new partnerships complementing its long-standing relationship with Sciplay, the social gaming subsidiary of Light & Wonder.
“We’re all about play—and that means meeting our fans wherever they are, from the game table to the casino floor,” said Claire Hunter Gregson, Director of Gaming Relationships at Hasbro.
“These visionary new partners have the expertise and imagination to reimagine our brands in bold, exciting ways for adult audiences.”
Craig Toner, CEO of Aristocrat Gaming, described the partnership as a “proud milestone” and reaffirmed the company’s commitment to “reimagine Monopoly slot games for today’s players around the globe.”
