FanDuel Introduces Game-Changing Features for March Madness

FanDuel has rolled out innovative new betting features ahead of the March Madness basketball tournament, enhancing the wagering experience for fans.

Among the highlights is a unique feature that allows bettors to combine selections across multiple tournament rounds into a single parlay, along with the introduction of the 'Bet Back Token', which provides a safety net for wagers that aren’t unfolding as expected.

The tournament parlay feature gives users the ability to merge multiple predictions into one bet. Bettors can now wager on teams advancing to specific rounds, winning their region, or even clinching the championship title—all within a single parlay. This is the first time a sportsbook has offered the ability to place bets across multiple rounds, enabling bettors to turn their bracket predictions into actionable wagers.

FanDuel’s Bet Back Token is designed to offer more flexibility. If a bet isn’t going as planned—whether due to an underperforming parlay leg, an injured key player, or a team falling behind late in the game—users can activate the token to receive their stake back in bonus bets. The refunded amount, subject to promotional limits, is instantly credited, and bettors can apply the token up until the final moments of a match.

The AGA estimates March Madness bets will reach $3.1bn, up from $2.7bn in 2024.

Speaking on these enhancements, Karol Corcoran, Senior Vice President and General Manager of FanDuel, commented:

“The March tournaments offer a full month of high-stakes college basketball, and while fans’ brackets may be busted after a round or two of tournament games, their bets no longer have to be with the Bet Back Token.

“Combined with our unique multi-round parlay feature, this year we are offering our customers unparalleled flexibility.”

With these new offerings, FanDuel continues to lead the way in sports betting innovation, giving fans more control and engagement throughout the tournament.
