KingMidas Games Joins Yggdrasil’s YGG Masters Programme

KingMidas Games has joined Yggdrasil’s YGG Masters programme, partnering with the supplier to use its proprietary Game in a Box™ technology and support the studio’s international growth.

The technology is designed to give developers greater control over production, allowing them to adjust game mechanics, rework mathematical models and server-side logic, and test different gameplay concepts throughout development.

The agreement will combine KingMidas Games’ creative capabilities with Yggdrasil’s technology, commercial support and distribution network, which spans more than 2,000 brands.

Game in a Box™ Supports Development Flexibility

Through the partnership, KingMidas Games will be able to use Game in a Box™ to refine gameplay and development processes, with the aim of accelerating the creation and launch of new titles.

The studio has a portfolio of more than 150 games and collaborations with Japanese intellectual property holders. These partnerships bring established characters and fictional worlds into its content.

Yggdrasil said KingMidas Games’ portfolio and Japanese IP collaborations would add further variety to the YGG Masters network of partner studios.
