DraftKings Expands Responsible Gaming Tools With New Campaign And Custom Cool-Offs
The operator has introduced new player protection initiatives, including flexible cool-off periods, a Mindway AI collaboration and a celebrity-led advertising campaign.

DraftKings has announced a series of responsible gaming initiatives designed to increase awareness and use of its player protection tools, including a new advertising campaign featuring Kevin Hart and Nick Jonas, expanded educational resources and additional account controls.
The measures also include a PGA TOUR sweepstakes encouraging customers to explore responsible gaming features, the introduction of Gamalyze American Football in partnership with Mindway AI and custom cool-off periods ranging from three to 364 days.
The initiatives build on DraftKings' existing responsible gaming framework, which includes My Budget Builder, My Stat Sheet and player-set limits.
Kevin Hart And Nick Jonas Front Responsible Gaming Campaign
DraftKings launched a new digital advertising campaign on 10 September featuring Kevin Hart and Nick Jonas, continuing the pair's road trip concept while highlighting tools that allow customers to monitor and manage their gambling activity.
The campaign will run across digital channels and forms part of the operator's efforts to incorporate responsible gaming messaging into its wider customer communications.
Lori Kalani, Chief Responsible Gaming Officer at DraftKings, said:
“At DraftKings, responsible engagement is embedded in how we operate and is essential to building trust with our customers and our long-term sustainability.”
She added: “We’ve continued to invest in tools and resources that give customers enhanced access to information about their play and more choices for managing how they engage. From My Budget Builder and My Stat Sheet to player-set limits and new custom cool-offs, we’re continuing to evolve our approach while promoting awareness and use of the tools and resources available to help customers play responsibly.”
DraftKings is also launching a PGA TOUR sweepstakes that will give eligible customers the opportunity to win an all-expenses-paid trip to THE PLAYERS Championship. Running from 16 to 29 September, the promotion encourages customers to engage with responsible gaming features such as My Budget Builder and My Stat Sheet through the operator's My Budget and Controls section.
Mindway AI Partnership Expands Into American Football
DraftKings is extending its collaboration with Mindway AI through the introduction of Gamalyze American Football, a gamified educational experience designed to promote responsible gaming among American football fans.
The launch follows the integration of Gamalyze Casino into DraftKings' My Budget and Controls section in January 2026 and the introduction of a football-themed version during the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Gamalyze American Football will be promoted through digital and in-person activations throughout September. Planned locations include the DraftKings Sports Bar at Wrigley Field, Gillette Stadium during the New England Patriots' home opener and Arrowhead Stadium for the Kansas City Chiefs' first home game.
The initiative is intended to introduce responsible gaming concepts through an interactive format while directing customers towards the operator's existing support tools and resources.
Custom Cool-Off Periods Offer Greater Flexibility
DraftKings is also expanding its account management controls by introducing custom cool-off periods, allowing customers to temporarily suspend their gambling activity for a duration of their choosing.
The new feature enables users to select any period between three and 364 days, providing greater flexibility than a limited selection of predetermined timeframes. It will become part of the operator's existing suite of responsible gaming tools, alongside spending controls, player-set limits and activity tracking features.
DraftKings said the changes reflect its continued investment in providing customers with more information about their gambling behaviour and additional options for managing their activity.
