ThrillTech Secures Buenos Aires Approval For iGaming Side-Bet Technology
The gambling technology supplier has received regulatory registration from LOTBA, allowing licensed operators in Buenos Aires to integrate its ThrillPots jackpot solution.

ThrillTech has secured regulatory approval to offer its side-bet technology in Buenos Aires, Argentina, after obtaining supplier registration from Lotería de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires (LOTBA).
The approval allows licensed operators in the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires to integrate ThrillTech's flagship ThrillPots solution into their existing online casino and sports betting platforms. The development marks another step in the supplier's international expansion, following recent regulatory approvals in several European markets.
ThrillPots introduces voluntary, player-funded side bets alongside existing gambling products, providing additional jackpot opportunities without changing the underlying games. The registration enables ThrillTech to offer the technology to licensed operators within Buenos Aires' regulated gambling market.
ThrillPots Expands Into Argentina
ThrillTech's ThrillPots platform operates as an additional betting layer across online casino and sportsbook products, allowing customers to opt into separate jackpot opportunities while participating in their usual gambling activities. The technology functions independently of the underlying game's return-to-player percentage and game logic, meaning operators can introduce the feature without modifying their existing products.
The system is designed to provide additional engagement opportunities and potential revenue streams for operators, with jackpots funded through voluntary player participation. Its introduction in Buenos Aires will depend on individual gambling businesses choosing to integrate the technology following ThrillTech's successful supplier registration.
ThrillTech Chief Operating Officer Amy Santos said:
“Securing our LOTBA supplier registration marks an exciting milestone for ThrillTech and another important step in our continued expansion across Latin America.
“We’re delighted to bring ThrillPots to operators in Argentina, offering an innovative, player-funded side-bet jackpot solution that enhances player engagement and creates new revenue opportunities for operators.”
Santos, who was appointed Chief Operating Officer in August, added that the approval reinforced the company's commitment to delivering compliant technology for operators and their customers.
Supplier Continues International Expansion
The Buenos Aires registration follows ThrillTech's recent regulatory approvals in Greece, Sweden and other jurisdictions as the company expands the availability of its technology across regulated gambling markets.
The supplier has also continued developing its product portfolio, introducing ThrillArena ahead of SBC Summit Lisbon as part of its wider focus on additional betting experiences and player engagement solutions.
LOTBA regulates gambling within the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires, meaning the registration does not automatically extend to other Argentine provinces, which maintain their own gambling regulatory requirements. ThrillTech will therefore need to comply with the relevant local frameworks before offering its products in additional jurisdictions across the country.
The company has not yet announced any operator integrations in Buenos Aires or confirmed when ThrillPots will become available to local players. However, the approval provides a route for licensed gambling businesses in the city to adopt the technology as ThrillTech continues its expansion across Latin America.
