ToonieBet Launches Sportsbook App in Ontario Following NHL Partnership

Soft2Bet’s Ontario-based brand, ToonieBet, has officially launched its sportsbook app, expanding its presence in Canada’s only regulated online gambling market.

The newly released app is now live on both the Apple App Store and Google Play, enabling players across Ontario to place real-time bets on a wide range of domestic and international sporting events through their mobile devices. In tandem with the mobile rollout, ToonieBet has also added a dedicated sportsbook section to its official website.

Commenting on the launch, Yoel Zuckerberg, Chief Product Officer at Soft2Bet, said:

“As Soft2Bet continues our rapid growth, we are excited to provide Ontario players with access to ToonieBet's sportsbook which is now available on the Apple App and Google Play Store, offering seamless access to a customised experience tailored for the province’s passionate gaming community."

This development follows Soft2Bet’s initial entry into the Ontario market in March 2024, and comes on the heels of ToonieBet’s appointment as the official online casino partner of NHL franchise the Ottawa Senators—an exclusive revealed by Gambling Insider last month.

The launch was developed in collaboration with Caesars and comes shortly after Soft2Bet secured regulatory approvals in both Spain and Greece, signalling the company’s growing international ambitions.
