Sportsbook provider BETBY has enhanced its esports portfolio by introducing additional player prop markets, offering a broader range of betting options to boost customer engagement.
The new markets include unique options for popular esports titles. In Counter-Strike 2, bettors can wager on Tournament Most Valuable Player and AWP Kill Comparisons, while Dota enthusiasts can place bets on the Most Popular Hero for picks and bans, as well as the Hero with the Highest Kill Death Assist ratio.
BETBY’s updates also feature continuously updated odds throughout tournaments, enabling customers to place bets during game or stage breaks. The expanded portfolio includes exclusive titles such as Escape from Tarkov: Arena and Standoff 2.
A notable highlight of the update is the ability to bet on individual esports players across all S-, A-, B-, and C-tier tournaments, rather than focusing solely on major events.
Kirill Nekrasov, Head of BETBY Games, explained the motivation behind these updates:
“We decided to accelerate the launch of new outrights and player prop markets for esports because we see a gap in the industry. We wanted to develop our own solutions and noticed that even though providers offer classic pre-tournament outrights, none of them provide continuously updated outrights when the events are in progress.
“Regarding player props, it’s relatively new content as part of our esports feed. If we talk about traditional sports, like soccer or basketball, it’s the standard for the industry. But I foresee that when it comes to esports it will as well be an absolute must-have in the future, with the performance and statistics of teams and players now becoming more widely available.”
Nekrasov highlighted that current player prop markets in esports are often limited to top-tier tournaments and select teams. BETBY’s approach aims to expand this feature to include B-tier and C-tier tournaments, broadening coverage to encompass more teams and events.
