FanDuel and Euroleague Basketball Team Up for US Broadcast Deal

FanDuel has secured a broadcasting partnership with Euroleague Basketball for the 2024-25 season, marking a significant step for both entities. Under this new agreement, one game from each round of the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Regular Season will be broadcast exclusively in the US on FanDuel TV Extra and FanDuel TV+, the brand’s free-to-access OTT platform.

This partnership will give US audiences a chance to watch European basketball for free, expanding Euroleague’s reach and enhancing its global presence. By offering these games on an easily accessible platform, the deal is set to bring Euroleague closer to American fans, showcasing the talent and excitement of European clubs.

Alex Ferrer Kristjansson, Chief Officer of Marketing and Communication at Euroleague Basketball, expressed his enthusiasm for the collaboration, stating:

"This agreement with FanDuel is a major step in expanding our footprint outside the pan-European ecosystem. By bringing the EuroLeague to US audiences, we’re unlocking new opportunities to grow our fan base and connect with basketball enthusiasts on a global level."

Mike Raffensperger, President of Sports at FanDuel, echoed the sentiment:

"We’re always looking to enhance FanDuel TV’s lineup with engaging live sports content, and EuroLeague has become an exciting draw for our users. This agreement will boost visibility for Europe’s top basketball league and deliver even more exciting watch-and-wager opportunities to our audience."

Thanks to this deal, US fans can tune in to one game from each of the 34 EuroLeague Regular Season rounds via FanDuel TV Extra and FanDuel TV+. The platform is available through popular streaming services like Roku, Pluto TV, and The Roku Channel, as well as directly via FanDuel’s website and app.
