BetMGM Confirmed as 2024 Sponsors for Premier League Darts
BetMGM and the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) have signed an agreement for the operator to take over as the new title sponsor of darts'
Following a deal signed on Thursday, BetMGM will become the new sponsor of the Premier League Darts for 2024.
BetMGM and the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) have signed an agreement for the operator to take over as the new title sponsor of darts' "biggest roadshow event" from Cazoo.
With a total prize pool of £1 million (€1.2 million/$1.3 million), eight players will compete over 17 nights, predominantly at venues around the United Kingdom and Ireland. Before the play-offs in London in May, events will be held in Rotterdam, Berlin, and Dublin.
The collaboration between the PDC and BetMGM follows the World Darts Championship in 2024. With 3.75 million viewers, Wednesday's final became the most-watched non-football event in Sky Sports history.
PDC chief executive Matt Porter said:
“The Premier League will reach a huge live audience and a massive global television audience across four months, and we’re delighted to welcome BetMGM as our new title sponsor.”
