Nascar Sign Betting Agreement with BetMGM

US stock car racing series, Nascar, has named BetMGM as its designated an authorised gaming operator. The brands will be aligned under a multi-year agreement.

Under this agreement, BetMGM will introduce several new bet types offered on Nascar markets, expanding its coverage to include a range of pre-race and in-play bets. Members of the betting site will now be able to place a bet on anything from the top-finishing drivers and driver matchups to stage winners and bets tied to the number of the winning car. 

Bettors will also be given the option to bet live and in-play. This will be made possible via Nascar’s partnership with Genius Sports and its sports betting division, Betgenius. The brands are rumoured to be working on a free-to-play game format too. 

Scott Warfield, Nascar’s managing director of gaming, said:

 “Partnering with a best-in-class operator like BetMGM positions Nascar to build on the positive energy and momentum we’re seeing around gaming and in particular the live in-race experience. We’re excited to have such an iconic brand on board to expand our offerings and deepen our engagement with the most passionate fans in sports.”

This is not Nascar's first foray into the world of online betting. Jut last year, the organisation signed casino operator Penn National Gaming as an authorised sports betting partner.
