Hollywoodbets Integrates ClearStake’s ID by Bank Technology to Streamline Customer Verification

Hollywoodbets has entered into an agreement with ClearStake to integrate its ID by Bank verification technology, aiming to simplify customer due diligence across its UK-facing iGaming platform.

The partnership will allow customers using Hollywoodbets’ online casino and sportsbook services to confirm their identity directly through their banking app, removing the need to manually upload identification documents. By connecting to open banking infrastructure, the system enables users to verify their details via their bank account in a process designed to take only a matter of seconds.

ClearStake’s ID by Bank solution relies on bank-verified data to perform identity checks that meet regulatory compliance requirements. Within the iGaming sector, these checks form a core part of customer due diligence and anti-money laundering (AML) obligations that operators must complete before customers can access certain services or reach specific transaction thresholds on betting and gaming platforms.

By adopting the technology, Hollywoodbets intends to make the verification process quicker and more convenient for customers, while also reducing the administrative burden linked to traditional document-based checks.
