Plus500 Adds Prediction Markets to US Trading Platform
New event-based contracts launch in partnership with Kalshi as shares jump in early London trading

Shares in Plus500 climbed sharply on Tuesday morning after the online trading platform confirmed the rollout of prediction markets for customers in the United States.
The company has introduced event-based contracts on its US platform, allowing retail traders to take positions on a wide range of real-world outcomes. These include economic data releases, major financial events, geopolitical developments and other clearly defined, measurable scenarios.
Plus500 said the new product has been launched in partnership with Kalshi and represents a strategic move into a fast-growing segment of the global trading ecosystem.
In a statement, the group said the addition of prediction markets fits closely with its broader focus on innovation and customer-led product development. By leveraging its existing proprietary technology, clearing infrastructure and risk management capabilities, Plus500 aims to offer US customers a transparent and regulated way to engage with event-driven trading.
The US launch follows Plus500’s December 2025 agreement to provide brokerage execution and clearing services to FanDuel Predicts, the event-based contracts platform backed by FanDuel and CME Group. The company said this institutional experience has helped position it to support wider participation across the prediction markets space.
Looking ahead, Plus500 noted that its scalable infrastructure is designed to support both consumer-facing innovation and business-to-business partnerships as the sector develops further. The group added that it expects to participate in future growth within prediction markets while operating within a disciplined and fully regulated framework.
Following the announcement, Plus500 shares were trading close to 8% higher in London, reflecting strong investor reaction to the expansion.
