Kalshi Signs Prediction Market Partnerships With Five MLB Teams
The multi-year agreements with the Dodgers, Red Sox, Braves, Padres and Giants bring the number of MLB clubs partnered with prediction market operators to seven.

Kalshi has signed exclusive, multi-year branding partnerships with five Major League Baseball (MLB) teams, including the Los Angeles Dodgers, Boston Red Sox, Atlanta Braves, San Diego Padres and San Francisco Giants.
The agreements mean almost 25% of MLB clubs now have partnerships with prediction market operators. The Dodgers, Padres and Giants are all based in California, where sports betting remains illegal.
The deal involving the Red Sox comes with a market restriction. Kalshi does not currently offer sports event contracts in Massachusetts while it challenges legal action brought by the state attorney general. Its sports markets remain blocked in the state pending a decision from the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court.
The five partnerships add to the growing number of MLB teams working with prediction market companies. The New York Mets became the first MLB club to establish such a partnership when they agreed a multi-year deal with Novig in late July, followed approximately a week later by the New York Yankees’ partnership with Polymarket.
“Baseball fans have made Kalshi part of how they engage with the game. We’re excited to keep investing in them and in the sport,” Kalshi said in a statement on X.
Dodgers Partnership Includes Stadium Activations
The partnerships will include in-stadium signage, as well as social media, online, radio and fan activations.
The Dodgers’ agreement includes the renaming of the Golden Glove Bar beneath the left field pavilion, close to Centerfield Plaza. The venue will become the Kalshi 435 Club.
Fans will also have access to Kalshi-specific offers and on-site activations at Centerfield Plaza throughout the season, according to the prediction market operator.
Kalshi said baseball-related trading volume on its platform has increased approximately 36-fold over the past year.
“The idea is that fans are already engaging with their favourite teams on Kalshi, so it only makes sense to extend that fandom to some of the most beloved baseball teams in America,” said Adam Barrick, head of sports partnerships at Kalshi.
The Dodgers began their partnership with Kalshi as they travelled to Atlanta to face the Braves in a three-game series at Truist Park. On Tuesday, Kalshi gave the Dodgers a 60% probability of winning the opening game.
The platform also assigned Shohei Ohtani a 27% probability of hitting a home run, compared with 20% for Braves first baseman Matt Olson. Dodgers pitcher Tyler Glasnow had a 59% probability of recording at least six strikeouts.
Dodgers Lead 2026 World Series Market
The Dodgers entered Tuesday as Kalshi’s leading candidate to win the 2026 World Series, with a 34% probability. A $100 position at those odds would return approximately $282.
The New York Yankees and Milwaukee Brewers followed with probabilities of around 10% each.
Kalshi also gave the Yankees a 24% probability of winning the American League, ahead of the Tampa Bay Rays at 22% and the Red Sox at 15%.
The Dodgers are seeking a third consecutive World Series title, while Ohtani is pursuing a third straight National League MVP award.
MLB.com’s latest MVP preview, based on an anonymous poll of 37 experts, placed Chicago Cubs outfielder Pete Crow Armstrong ahead of Ohtani. Armstrong received 29 first-place votes.
Kalshi assigned Armstrong a 67% probability of winning the MVP award, with Ohtani next and Alex Bregman a distant third at 1%.
Polymarket became MLB’s exclusive prediction market exchange partner before the regular season after announcing a league-wide partnership. MLB’s agreement followed a Memorandum of Understanding with the US Commodity Futures Trading Commission covering a framework for prediction markets.
MLB did not issue a statement on Kalshi’s five team partnerships. Of the clubs involved, the Red Sox were the only team to publicly acknowledge the agreement, responding to Kalshi’s announcement on X with an emoji.
