Soccabet Deploys QTech Hybrid Retail Platform Across Ghana
Nationwide rollout links more than 200 betting outlets with the operator’s digital ecosystem.

Soccabet has expanded its retail footprint in Ghana after going live with QTech Games’ QTech Hybrid solution across more than 200 locations nationwide, strengthening its position as the country’s largest retail betting operator.
Founded in 2015, Soccabet has grown into a Tier-1 brand in Ghana and is already ranked among the top three digital operators in the market. The latest deployment significantly accelerates its retail ambitions, while also connecting land-based outlets with its established online offering through a unified platform.
QTech Hybrid is designed to bridge the gap between retail and digital betting environments, allowing operators to manage both channels seamlessly. For Soccabet, the integration creates a single ecosystem where customers can move easily between in-shop play and personal devices, while agents and outlets are managed through a centralised system.
Ekaterina Mayorova, Head of Region for Africa at QTech Games, said the partnership reflects the supplier’s focus on delivering technology tailored to local market realities.
“Retail remains a crucial part of the betting landscape in Ghana, and QTech Hybrid has been built specifically to support operators that rely on strong agent networks alongside growing online demand,” Mayorova said. “This rollout demonstrates how retail and digital channels can complement each other rather than compete.”
Henrik Sandin, Product Owner for QTech Hybrid, explained that the product was originally developed to help operators survive periods of retail disruption, before evolving into a fully-fledged multi-channel solution.
“Over time, Hybrid has grown far beyond its original purpose,” Sandin said. “It now offers operators lower operating costs, greater flexibility and constant access to fresh content, while removing the need for expensive, fixed hardware.”
From Soccabet’s perspective, the rollout is a strategic move as the operator prepares for a busy period on the sports calendar, including the upcoming FIFA World Cup.
Managing Director Imad Hawwach said the collaboration aligns with Soccabet’s focus on combining advanced technology with local player preferences.
“Our customers expect a modern, convenient and high-quality betting experience,” Hawwach said. “QTech Hybrid allows us to deliver that consistently across a very large retail network, while also strengthening the link between sportsbook and casino ahead of a crucial year for customer acquisition and retention.”
The deployment highlights a broader trend across African betting markets, where operators are increasingly seeking flexible solutions that support both physical outlets and mobile-first play, while enabling cross-channel engagement and scalable growth.
