Kiron Interactive Expands African Presence With 20-Game SportyBet Partnership
The virtual sports supplier has launched 20 titles across five African markets, expanding SportyBet's offering with football, basketball, racing and motorsport content.

Kiron Interactive has strengthened its presence in Africa through a partnership with SportyBet, launching 20 virtual sports titles across Nigeria, Kenya, Ghana, Tanzania and Zambia.
The rollout, confirmed on 13 October, introduces a broad selection of virtual sports content to SportyBet's platform, complementing its existing live sports betting offering with scheduled events available throughout the day.
Football accounts for the largest proportion of the new portfolio, although the agreement also covers basketball, horse racing, greyhound racing and motorsport. The launch represents a significant expansion of Kiron's distribution across the continent, with all 20 titles introduced simultaneously in the five markets.
The partnership builds on Kiron's existing African operations, where the supplier has continued developing relationships with regional betting operators and expanding access to its virtual sports products.
Football Leads SportyBet Virtual Sports Rollout
The new SportyBet offering includes several virtual football formats, with league and single-match competitions based around England, Spain and Italy.
Among the titles introduced are Soccer Stars, iGOAL, Virtual World Cup and Virtual Champions League, providing players with a combination of individual matches, league competitions and tournament-style experiences.
These products are supported by virtual basketball and a selection of racing titles covering horses, greyhounds and motorsport, creating a wider range of betting opportunities outside the traditional live sporting calendar.
Steven Spartinos, Co-CEO at Kiron Interactive, welcomed the agreement and highlighted the scale of the simultaneous launch.
“Going live with 20 titles in 5 countries from day one is a strong start to our partnership with SportyBet and reflects the breadth of content we can bring to the market,” Spartinos said.“Football is naturally central to the offering, but the strength of this launch is the variety around it. We are bringing together different sports, formats and event types in one portfolio, giving SportyBet players more ways to enjoy virtual sports throughout the day.”
SportyBet Welcomes Expanded Content Offering
For SportyBet, the agreement provides additional virtual sports products across five of its African markets, allowing the operator to diversify its existing sportsbook offering.
The introduction of multiple sporting formats is intended to provide customers with a broader selection of events, particularly during periods when live sporting fixtures are limited.
Joey Hurtado, Casino Director at SportyBet, said the partnership aligned with the operator's strategy of offering a varied sports entertainment experience.
“We are focused on giving our players a broad and varied sports entertainment experience, and Kiron’s portfolio is a strong addition to our offering,” Hurtado said.“The combination of football, racing, basketball and other virtual formats gives players more choice throughout the day while complementing the live sports already available on our platform.”
Hurtado also confirmed that the titles are already live, adding that SportyBet intends to develop its relationship with Kiron further.
Kiron Continues African Market Expansion
The SportyBet agreement follows another multi-market African launch earlier this year, when Kiron introduced its Kiron.Lite Virtual League product through several regional operators.
That rollout included MojaBet brands in DR Congo, Senegal, Zambia and Nigeria, alongside Keedbet in Ghana and LNB Pari in Benin. Unlike the latest SportyBet partnership, the earlier integration focused on a single low-bandwidth virtual football product.
The latest agreement therefore represents a broader content deployment, with 20 titles distributed through one operator across five countries.
Spartinos said SportyBet's established presence in Africa provided a strong foundation for further collaboration between the businesses.
“SportyBet has built a significant presence across Africa, and we are pleased to extend our relationship with such a broad portfolio. It gives us a strong foundation to continue growing together in the market.”
Neither company has disclosed the financial terms of the partnership or provided figures relating to player activity or betting volumes following the launch. However, the integration adds to Kiron's growing network of African operator partnerships as it continues expanding the availability of its virtual sports portfolio.
