Bally’s Relaunches First UK Flagship Casino in Newcastle

Bally’s is set to relaunch its first UK flagship casino at The Gate in Newcastle on March 14, following a full-scale redesign.

The operator says Bally’s Casino Newcastle has been “designed to be the beating heart of the city centre’s nightlife,” offering “a complete entertainment experience under one roof.”

The redesigned venue will feature a wide range of attractions, including slots, live gaming tables, 38 electronic roulette terminals, and a dedicated poker room. Sports fans will benefit from 44 screens across the venue, dedicated viewing areas, and giant screens ensuring no action is missed.

Guests can also enjoy an American diner-style menu served from lunchtime until 3:00am, live entertainment every weekend, free parking, and extended opening hours, moving to 24-hour operation after the reopening.

Launch Event

The launch night promises a complimentary drinks reception, live music, learn-to-play table sessions, and interactive cocktail-making experiences. The headline prize is a trip for two to Las Vegas (or a cash alternative), with additional prizes including free bets and cash giveaways.

In the weeks following the relaunch, Bally’s will host a programme of promotions and events, including daily competitions, live sport activations, and major prize promotions such as the Grab a Grand giveaway and an evening with Newcastle United legend Shay Given.
