Aristocrat Gaming and ANZCHAM Host International Women’s Day Forum in the Philippines
Held on 3 March, the event formed part of celebrations for International Women's Day and provided a platform for discussion around women’s participation in leadership, community initiatives and professional development.

Aristocrat Gaming and Australian-New Zealand Chamber of Commerce Philippines hosted an International Women’s Day forum in the Philippines, bringing together more than 300 participants from across the business, government and diplomatic communities.
Held on 3 March, the event formed part of celebrations for International Women's Day and provided a platform for discussion around women’s participation in leadership, community initiatives and professional development.
This year’s International Women’s Day theme, “Give to Gain,” guided the programme. Speakers and panellists explored topics including mentoring, advocacy, access to resources and the importance of investing time in initiatives that support women’s advancement. Organisers noted that the theme highlighted how these forms of support can help expand opportunities across workplaces, communities and wider society.

Diplomatic and Industry Participation
Among those attending were Catherine McIntosh and Marc Innes-Brown.
Their participation reflected the continued engagement of both countries in initiatives aimed at supporting women and girls in the Philippines, as well as across Asia and internationally.
“Women play vital roles in community leadership, business and public service, so conversations like these are crucial to advancing representation,” said ANZCHAM President Benjamin Romualdez.
“I’m proud that our event not only celebrated the achievements of women, but also strengthened our shared commitment within the region to increasing visibility, expanding opportunities and ensuring that women’s perspectives are embedded in decision-making at every level.”
Commitment to Representation
International Women’s Day events held in the Philippines and other global markets continue to provide an important forum for discussion around the role of women in business and community leadership. Organisers confirmed that the gathering is expected to remain a regular fixture on ANZCHAM’s calendar in the years ahead.
“At Aristocrat Gaming, advancing the representation of women across all levels remains a strategic priority for us, and we believe that having a vibrant mix of perspectives at the table strengthens our performance culture and helps create a sense of belonging for all,” said Lloyd Robson.
“As the principal event partner, we are incredibly proud to stand alongside community members, customers and team members who believe that supporting and strengthening the role women play in our communities can help drive industries forward.”
Recognised as one of the established chambers operating in the Philippines, ANZCHAM works closely with members and stakeholders across both government and private sector organisations. The chamber regularly delivers programmes and initiatives designed to strengthen engagement between businesses in Australia, New Zealand and the Philippines.
