SavageTech and Gaming Innovation Group Partner to Bring Avatar-Led Meta-Game Gamification to iGaming Operators

SavageTech, a next-generation gamification provider specialising in meta-game engagement layers for the iGaming industry, has announced a strategic partnership with Gaming Innovation Group (GiG), one of the world’s leading B2B iGaming platform providers serving regulated markets globally.

The partnership will see SavageTech’s advanced gamification engine integrated across GiG’s operator ecosystem, giving sportsbook and casino brands access to a powerful new engagement layer that sits on top of their existing products. The result is a deeper, more immersive player experience designed to increase loyalty, session length and lifetime value.

At the heart of SavageTech’s solution is a fully customisable player avatar that acts as the hub of an RPG-style progression system. Players progress through levels, complete missions, unlock items and compete on leaderboards, turning traditional betting into an ongoing interactive journey rather than a series of isolated bets. This persistent meta-game layer allows operators to reward behaviour across multiple verticals, creating a more unified and personalised player experience.

“Partnering with GiG is a major strategic milestone for SavageTech,” said Tom Jang Lemke, CEO & Co-Founder of SavageTech. “GiG is a tier-one platform provider with a strong track record of innovation. Together, we are enabling operators to deploy a truly modern gamified layer, built around a customisable avatar, that makes the player experience more engaging, more personal, and ultimately more rewarding.”

Through the integration, GiG operators will be able to activate SavageTech’s gamification module as a flexible and scalable engagement tool that can be rolled out quickly and configured to suit individual brand strategies. By bringing proven mechanics from the mobile and video gaming world into regulated iGaming, SavageTech provides operators with new ways to stand out in increasingly competitive markets, encourage repeat play, and strengthen long-term customer relationships.

James Coxon, Chief Operating Officer at GiG, commented:

“This partnership reflects our commitment to delivering the strongest and most innovative content across the GiG ecosystem. By integrating SavageTech’s avatar-led gamification layer, we continue to expand our platform with differentiated engagement tools that enhance the player journey, support brand differentiation, and drive sustainable growth and loyalty for our partners across regulated markets.”

What GiG Operators Can Expect

Through the SavageTech integration, GiG-powered operators will be able to:

  1. Offer a persistent, cross-product meta-game built around a customisable avatar that rewards player behaviour across sportsbook and casino.
  2. Deploy missions, leaderboards, and progression mechanics designed to increase engagement, retention, and player lifetime value.
  3. Activate a scalable and configurable engagement layer aligned with GiG’s modular platform architecture, enabling rapid deployment and ongoing optimisation.
