Buzz Bingo Unveils £25m Investment Plan to Modernise UK Club Network
Backed by new funding from Barclays, the multi-year initiative will see significant upgrades rolled out across Buzz’s estate, including enhanced digital infrastructure, contemporary design elements, and improved in-club technology.

Buzz Bingo has launched a £25 million investment programme aimed at transforming its UK land-based venues, with the first wave of club refurbishments kicking off in 2025.
Backed by new funding from Barclays, the multi-year initiative will see significant upgrades rolled out across Buzz’s estate, including enhanced digital infrastructure, contemporary design elements, and improved in-club technology.
The first revamped location, Sheffield Parkway, has already reopened its doors. The site now features a reimagined main hall, new lounge and bar areas, and bespoke artwork from local artists. It also boasts dynamic audio-visual systems, digital screens and sleek, modern interiors tailored to appeal to a younger demographic.
Buzz Bingo reported that footfall at Sheffield Parkway surged by 200% in the week following its reopening, with a year-on-year increase of 131%.
The refurbishment programme includes plans to introduce over 10,000 electronic bingo terminals, digital membership cards, and advanced self-service kiosks across the estate. Seven additional clubs – including Leeds and Stockport – are scheduled for renovation later this year, with more to follow as part of the wider rollout.
This investment forms a key part of Buzz Bingo’s five-year strategy, announced in 2023, which centres on leveraging its omnichannel offering to drive long-term, sustainable growth. The company also continues to expand, recently acquiring two Merkur Bingo clubs in Northampton and Cricklewood.
Buzz Bingo CEO Dominic Mansour commented:
“Our new investment programme will see clubs across our estate being transformed. This is all about modernising bingo for the next generation of players and taking our clubs to the next level to offer a truly unmatched experience for our players.”
