Caesars Makes Oregon Retail Sports Betting Debut via Tribal Partnership
The first in-person sports bets were placed on Monday at the Ko-Kwel Casino Resort in Coos Bay—formerly known as The Mill Casino.

Caesars Entertainment has officially entered the Oregon retail sports betting market through a new partnership with the Coquille Indian Tribe, marking a significant expansion of its on-site wagering operations.
The first in-person sports bets were placed on Monday at the Ko-Kwel Casino Resort in Coos Bay—formerly known as The Mill Casino. The launch coincided with the casino’s 30th anniversary, adding further occasion to the milestone.
As part of the agreement, Caesars has introduced a suite of self-service betting kiosks at the property. These terminals offer access to an extensive range of betting markets, including player prop bets, live in-play wagering, and futures markets, giving punters a flexible and modern retail betting experience.
Eric Hession, President of Caesars Digital, said:
“Bringing our sports wagering offering to a new jurisdiction for the first time is always significant. We remain committed to supporting Indian gaming and enhancing the guest experience through partnerships like this.”
Margaret Simpson, CEO of the Coquille Economic Development Corporation, added:
“This partnership aligns perfectly with our commitment to advancing gaming opportunities and enhancing guest satisfaction.”
This move strengthens Caesars’ footprint in tribal gaming and expands its reach into another US state, underscoring the brand’s strategy of forging partnerships that blend local ownership with national expertise.
