Sportradar Expands into Microbetting with Tennis Data Innovations Partnership

Supplier Sportradar has announced its plans to expand into the microbetting sector, partnering with Tennis Data Innovations (TDI) and utilizing AI to offer bets on specific, short-term outcomes within a game.

This new collaborative effort aims to enhance Sportradar's offerings by using data from TDI to create more market possibilities for players. Wagerable options will include predictions such as the next break point, whether the next serve will be an ace, rally, or double fault, total points per shot, all point outcomes, and the type of the last stroke in a rally (forehand, backhand, volley, serve, or return). The partnership is expected to deliver 1,500 new betting opportunities per match.

Sportradar also plans to leverage its existing microbetting expertise from football and table tennis as it makes further inroads into tennis. The supplier has also revealed upcoming plans to expand micro-market options for American football, basketball, baseball, and ice hockey.

SVP Odds Services at Sportradar, Karl Danzer, commented on the development, saying:

“The introduction of micro markets underscores Sportradar’s commitment to leading the industry with advanced proprietary technology to provide clients with unmatched opportunities to engage fans and generate new revenue across hugely popular betting sports like tennis.”
