ToonieBet Becomes Exclusive Sportsbook Partner Of CFL’s Ottawa Redblacks

Canadian iGaming and sportsbook operator ToonieBet has agreed a partnership with Canadian Football League (CFL) team the Ottawa Redblacks, becoming the franchise’s exclusive sportsbook partner.

Under the agreement, ToonieBet will receive branding across Redblacks player jerseys, television and LED displays at TD Place, as well as integration across the team’s social media channels.

The operator will also sponsor the Sideline Club, the field-level seating area at TD Place.

Game Day Activation

The partnership includes three pre-game events on Exhibition Way, the outdoor pedestrian pathway outside TD Place.

The events will feature live music, games and giveaways and will take place on Redblacks game days.

Daniel Madmon, Head of ToonieBet Canada, said:

“Partnering with an iconic franchise like the Ottawa REDBLACKS marks an exciting milestone as we continue to expand ToonieBet’s footprint in Canada. We look forward to wearing the team colours on the field, hosting unforgettable game day experiences, and offering Ottawa fans a fun, innovative platform to engage with the sport they love.”

ToonieBet’s Canadian Expansion

The agreement follows ToonieBet’s broader expansion across Canada and its involvement in Canadian sports.

In July 2025, the operator was named an official sports betting and online casino partner of the CFL, as well as an Official Authorized Gaming Operator of the league.

ToonieBet launched in Ontario in May 2025 before expanding into Alberta following the province’s launch of its regulated online gambling market in July 2026. The operator was among the online sportsbook and iGaming brands registered ahead of the market opening.

ToonieBet is Soft2Bet’s iGaming product developed for the Canadian market.

Alberta’s online gaming market has been forecast by a provincial minister to generate CA$76m (US$55m) in tax revenue during its first year.

Meanwhile, iGaming Ontario recently reported a record monthly total for cash wagers in July, with the province reaching CA$9.9bn (US$7.1bn).
