Exclusive Q&A with Juha Kauppinen, CEO at Gaming Corps

Following Gaming Corps' recent announcement that it has concluded its agreements with Denwena Limited and Degen Studios, the company is entering a new phase focused entirely on strengthening its own game development strategy and proprietary portfolio. In this exclusive interview, Juha Kauppinen, CEO at Gaming Corps, discusses the thinking behind the decision, the studio's vision for long-term growth, its continued commitment to innovation, and the opportunities that lie ahead as Gaming Corps continues to expand its presence across regulated markets and deepen relationships with operators worldwide.

1. Gaming Corps recently announced the conclusion of its agreements with Denwena Limited and Degen Studios. Looking ahead, why do you believe this marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter for the company?

This is a great opportunity for us to further sharpen our focus on our own game development. Since those agreements were originally signed we've seen great development in terms of our own games, expanded into more regulated markets, significantly strengthened our operator network and built an even broader portfolio of games.

Going forward, we're fully focused on executing the Gaming Corps strategy and allocating our resources where we believe they create the greatest long-term value. That gives us greater flexibility, greater clarity and, most importantly, allows us to concentrate entirely on delivering innovative games and creating value for both our partners and shareholders.

2. Gaming Corps has built a reputation for doing things differently. How would you describe the company's vision as you enter this next phase of growth?

We've never tried to be the biggest studio in terms of the number of games we release and so on. Instead, we've always focused on creating top quality games that stand out and offer something genuinely different for both operators and players.

That philosophy remains unchanged. As we grow, our clear ambition is to build Gaming Corps into one of the major players among the world's game studios, providing premium content by combining creativity, innovation and commercial execution.

3. Innovation has always been at the heart of Gaming Corps. What can operators and players expect from your upcoming roadmap?

Our set ambition is that innovation will continue to define Gaming Corps. We're investing in new game mechanics, proprietary concepts and original intellectual property while also expanding some of our most successful game families.

Our goal is always to surprise players while helping operators differentiate their offering. At the same time, we're adapting our production processes to combine creativity with cost-efficient game production scalability.

4. What are the biggest opportunities you see for Gaming Corps over the next 12 months, both in existing markets and new territories?

We have several exciting opportunities ahead. One is to continue growing together with our existing operator partners, where we see significant untapped potential. At the same time, we're adding new partners and hopefully entering additional regulated markets.

The combination of increasing cost control, expanding distribution and our growing portfolio should give us a solid platform for growth looking forward.

5. Operator relationships are fundamental to long-term success. How are you ensuring Gaming Corps continues to be a trusted and valuable partner for operators worldwide?

For us, trust is built through consistency. Operators need partners who deliver on time, maintain high quality and are smooth to work with.We invest heavily in understanding our partners' needs and maintaining close dialogue.

At the end of the day, long-term relationships are created by consistently delivering value, not just through great games, but just as much through reliability and professionalism.

6. The iGaming industry continues to evolve at pace. How is Gaming Corps adapting to stay ahead of changing player expectations and market trends?

The industry evolves quickly, and staying ahead of changing player expectations has always been one of our key strengths. From the very beginning, we've focused on identifying emerging trends early and developing innovative game concepts that stand out in the market. We stay close to both operators and players, constantly analysing player behaviour and market developments. That said, it's no easy task given the pace at which both the market and player expectations evolve today.

At the same time, we remain disciplined in our strategy, focusing on regulated markets and building sustainable long-term growth rather than chasing short-term opportunities.

7. As CEO, what lessons have shaped your leadership, and how have they influenced the decisions you're making today?

One of the biggest lessons I've learned is that sustainable success is built over time through consistency and execution. It's important to stay focused on the long-term strategy, even when external circumstances change.

I've also learned that no CEO builds a successful company alone. One of the most important parts of my job is surrounding myself with people who are better than me in their respective fields, giving them the trust and freedom to do what they do best. When you have great people who challenge each other, take ownership and work towards the same vision, that's when you can build something truly special.

Another important lesson is the value of making decisions based on high quality data. Over the past year we've strengthened our organisation with additional expertise in Business Intelligence and data analytics, while also implementing better tools that make data more accessible across the company. It's been particularly rewarding to see the impact this has had on our commercial discussions, but ultimately these investments help every department make better, faster and more informed decisions.

8. What excites you most about the team you've built, and how important are your people in delivering Gaming Corps' long-term ambitions?

Our people are without question our greatest strength. We have an incredibly talented international team that combines creativity with deep industry knowledge.

What excites me most is the culture we've built. We encourage people to challenge ideas, think differently and have the courage to try new things. Not every idea will succeed, and that's okay. Innovation requires people to be brave enough to experiment, learn from failures and keep improving. As long as we're learning and moving forward, those experiences make us stronger.

I'm incredibly proud of that mindset because it's what drives our innovation and will continue to be fundamental to achieving our long-term ambitions.

9. Finally, when we look back at 2026, what do you hope people will be saying about Gaming Corps?

I hope people will say that 2026 was the year Gaming Corps took an important strategic decision to focus on building our own game portfolio and IPs. That we continued to deliver on our strategy, strengthened our position in regulated markets and established ourselves as an even more trusted partner for operators.

Most importantly, I hope they'll see Gaming Corps as a company that consistently delivers on its promises while continuing to innovate and create long-term value for our partners and shareholders.
