Daw Global Weekly Company Brief: Week Commencing: 6th July 2026
From being named 'Crypto Banking Company Of The Year' at the iGaming News Awards to a recap of iGB L!VE 2026 and the key highlights from Q2 2026, here's everything you need to know.

The Inaugural iGaming News Awards Recognised Daw Global
The inaugural iGaming News Awards recognised standout businesses and individuals across the iGaming industry, with Daw named Crypto Banking Company Of The Year.
This award reflects something specific about how we operate. An environment has been built where fiat banking and cryptocurrency work alongside each other through the core offering, multi-currency banking, and integrated cryptocurrency providers, meaning clients can manage both fiat and digital assets within a connected ecosystem rather than across separate, unrelated providers.
For iGaming operators in particular, this matters. Fees accumulate quickly when fiat banking and cryptocurrency payment rails are disconnected. Every additional step in the payment process carries a cost, and in iGaming those costs become far more noticeable given the complexity of the payment flows involved.
With iGaming operators holding their multi-currency fiat accounts with us, they immediately access the ecosystem and have the option of a panel of connected and trusted cryptocurrency providers. The fee structure is agreed upfront for their fiat and cryptocurrency requirements, meaning clients know exactly what their set-up costs to run.
Receiving this recognition at the first edition of the iGaming News Awards is a fantastic result for the team and a reflection of the work that has gone into building this over the past year.
Summary Of iGB L!VE 2026 At Excel London (01 – 02 July): Insights by Euan Maskell – Co-Founder & Director
iGB L!VE 2026 at Excel London on 1 – 2 July delivered two active days across the iGaming ecosystem. With more than 15,000 attendees and 300 exhibitors, the event provided a concentrated environment for the full spectrum of the industry, covering casino and sportsbook operators, affiliate networks, platform providers and technology vendors.
The event provided an opportunity to reconnect with existing clients and partners and meet new businesses exploring new or additional banking partners for their iGaming operations.
iGB L!VE 2026 was an important event for us because the iGaming industry is built on trust and familiarity. Having the right businesses in one venue for two days creates an environment where those discussions can happen directly and progress quickly.
For a banking provider working across iGaming, attending this event was not simply about visibility. It is about being present in the environment where the industry makes decisions about who they work with.
The team returns with a strong set of follow-up discussions already underway and new opportunities for partnerships. We expect iGB L!VE to remain a key fixture in our events calendar going forward.
Summary Of The Second Quarter Of 2026 (Q2 2026): Insights by Martin Van Lessen – Strategic Partner
Q2 2026 built on the momentum established in the first quarter of 2026 (Q1 2026), with sustained activity across core client sectors and an events calendar that generated a good volume of new introductions alongside follow-up activity from existing relationships. Onboarding activity remained high throughout the quarter, reflecting consistent demand across the sectors and markets we operate in.
The iGaming sector maintained its pace from Q1 2026, with Anjouan remaining the most active licensing jurisdictions across new client activity.
Cryptocurrency related entities, including Virtual Asset Service Providers (VASPs) navigating the Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCA) transition ahead of the 1 July 2026 deadline, represented a growing proportion of enquiries and onboardings as the quarter progressed.
The deadline itself passed on 1 July 2026, and the post-transition period is expected to generate further activity as businesses that have secured CASP (Crypto-Asset Service Provider) authorisation look to align their banking with their new regulatory status.
