FanDuel has been named an official sports betting operator of Formula 1, with the Flutter Entertainment brand joining Allwyn in securing a significant partnership with the sport.

Formula 1 confirmed that FanDuel is the first US-based sports betting operator it has partnered with. The agreement, which also extends to Canada, will see FanDuel odds integrated into F1’s Betting Guide, as well as its editorial betting content across the official website and app.

According to Formula 1, the collaboration will provide fans with “real-time insights and betting context” across race weekends, while also incorporating responsible gambling messaging.

‘Engaging betting opportunities’

“Formula 1 generates an incredible amount of real-time data, and our platform is built to turn that into engaging betting opportunities for fans. This partnership will allow us to deliver even more immersive, data-driven experiences throughout the race weekend,” said Karol Corcoran.

“As sports betting becomes an increasing component with how fans, especially in the US, interact with sport, it's vital we have a strong and well-placed partner to deliver our strategy and fuel our momentum across the market,” added Jonny Howarth.

“With tens of millions of fans across the country, FanDuel is yet another avenue that eligible fans can enjoy and experience the thrill of Formula 1.”

Allwyn partnership continues

Allwyn initially partnered with Formula 1 last year, focusing on promoting the social impact of its lottery-funded initiatives. The partnership was extended earlier this year through a new multi-year agreement.

“The extension represents a significant opportunity to build deeper audience engagement through pioneering fan-centric activations,” Formula 1 stated.

“The renewed agreement also includes new interactive and broadcast elements designed to attract and develop fan avidity. It builds on a strong inaugural year in 2025, while continuing a shared commitment to innovation, technology and driving positive change in the communities where both organisations operate.”
