New Jersey Records $243.9m iGaming Revenue in March as Online Growth Continues

Overall, the state generated $84.7m in gaming taxes for the month, reflecting continued growth across both digital and retail segments, with iGaming remaining the primary driver.

New Jersey’s gaming market maintained its upward trajectory in March 2026, with total revenue reaching $596.4m, marking a 9.2% increase year-on-year.

According to the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement, internet gaming contributed $272.1m of the total, up 11.6% compared to March 2025. Casino win across Atlantic City’s nine properties rose 2.5% to $236.7m, while sports wagering revenue climbed 22.8% to $87.6m.

Overall, the state generated $84.7m in gaming taxes for the month, reflecting continued growth across both digital and retail segments, with iGaming remaining the primary driver.

Online gaming continues to lead the market

Atlantic City casinos delivered mixed results in March. Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa led the market with $67.2m in casino win, up 15.1% year-on-year. Caesars Atlantic City followed with $19.6m, a 17.5% increase.

Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City and Ocean Casino Resort also posted modest gains, while Golden Nugget and Resorts saw declines. Across the market, slot machine revenue dipped 1%, but table games rose 13.3%, supporting overall growth.

Online operators continued to outperform retail channels. FanDuel, DraftKings and BetMGM remained dominant, with FanDuel’s online casino generating $62.7m, up 20% year-on-year.

Hard Rock Bet saw the strongest growth, rising 55.8% to $18.4m in online revenue, reinforcing the continued expansion of digital gaming in the state.

Sports betting surpasses $1bn handle

Sports wagering also posted strong gains, with revenue reaching $87.6m, up 22.8% year-on-year. Online sportsbooks accounted for $84.4m of total revenue, while retail venues contributed $3.2m.

FanDuel at Meadowlands led the market with $32.2m, up 37.3%, followed by DraftKings at Resorts with $22.3m. bet365recorded the strongest percentage growth, increasing revenue by 149% to nearly $7m.

The statewide betting handle surpassed $1bn for the month, with $980m wagered online. Tax contributions across all gaming segments reached $95.6m, with funds distributed to the Casino Revenue Fund, Atlantic City’s PILOT programme and the state’s general fund.
