Lazio Land Polymarket as New Front-of-shirt Sponsor in $22m Deal
The deal, announced ahead of Lazio’s Serie A clash with Napoli on Saturday (April 18), will see Polymarket become the club’s primary shirt sponsor through to the 2027–28 season, with an option to extend for a further year.

Lazio have secured a new front-of-shirt sponsorship agreement with prediction market company Polymarket, bringing an end to their search for a main jersey partner.
The deal, announced ahead of Lazio’s Serie A clash with Napoli on Saturday (April 18), will see Polymarket become the club’s primary shirt sponsor through to the 2027–28 season, with an option to extend for a further year.
Valued at more than $22 million, the multi-year agreement also includes performance-related bonuses and activation incentives. Polymarket branding made its on-pitch debut during the Napoli fixture.
The partnership also names Polymarket as Lazio’s official fan intelligence and digital insights partner, with both parties set to collaborate on data-led fan engagement, predictive analysis and digital content initiatives.
As Polymarket does not hold an Italian online gaming licence (ADM), the agreement will centre on its informational and analytical services rather than any trading functionality.
While the platform remains accessible in Italy, its core trading features are restricted, meaning users can view informational content only. Similar limitations apply in other markets, including France, Switzerland and Australia.
Lazio confirmed the agreement is “in compliance with the applicable regulatory framework.”
The deal represents a significant commercial uplift for the club, which has been without a front-of-shirt sponsor since its previous agreement with Binance expired following the 2022–23 season.
Polymarket joins a wider portfolio of Lazio partners, including Mizuno (technical sponsor), Aeroitalia (airline partner), TIM (telecommunications partner) and Enel (energy partner).
“This agreement strengthens Lazio’s path of international development and confirms the club’s desire to position itself as an increasingly modern, open, and competitive entity in the new landscape of global sport,” said Lazio president Claudio Lotito.
The partnership adds to Polymarket’s growing presence in sport, having recently expanded into European football through a deal with Spain’s LaLiga in North America.
Polymarket also holds partnerships across several major sports organisations, including MLB, NHL, UFC, MLS and streaming platform DAZN.
