DraftKings Expands Prediction Markets with Player-Specific NFL and NBA Contracts

DraftKings has expanded its prediction markets offering to include, for the first time, player-specific sports event contracts across both the NFL and NBA.

The development follows a strategic agreement with global cryptocurrency platform and CFTC-regulated derivatives exchange Crypto.com, marking another step forward in the evolution of DraftKings Predictions.

Jeanine Hightower-Sellitto, Senior Vice President and General Manager of DraftKings Predictions, said the collaboration strengthens the product’s growing momentum:

“We’re continuing to build momentum behind DraftKings Predictions by leveraging our expertise across sports and technology and integrating additional CFTC-regulated exchanges like Crypto.com.

This collaboration meaningfully expands customer access to trade on sports and a broader range of prediction markets and also reinforces our focus on delivering a more comprehensive and engaging experience as the product continues to evolve.”

As part of the expansion, DraftKings Predictions is broadening its range of sports prediction markets in the states where the product is currently available. These now span football, MMA, golf, boxing, tennis and the Olympic Games, complementing the existing sports and financial markets powered by CME Group.

Beyond sport, the partnership is expected to support the introduction of new event contract categories, including culture, entertainment and politics. DraftKings Predictions is also set to integrate Railbird Exchange in the coming months, further strengthening its overall market offering.
