DraftKings Launches Spanish-Language App Experience Ahead of 2026 World Cup
The Boston-based firm confirmed in a press release that the feature is being introduced initially to selected customers, with a full rollout planned over the coming weeks.

Some DraftKings customers are now seeing Spanish instead of English when they open the operator’s Sportsbook or Casino app, as the company begins rolling out a new Spanish-language experience across the US and Ontario.
The Boston-based firm confirmed in a press release that the feature is being introduced initially to selected customers, with a full rollout planned over the coming weeks.
The update forms part of DraftKings’ wider product strategy and comes ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which will be hosted jointly by the United States, Mexico and Canada and is expected to attract a large Spanish-speaking audience.
“Today, Spanish-speaking players represent a growing segment of DraftKings’ customer base,” said Corey Gottlieb, DraftKings’ Chief Product Officer.
“By bringing Spanish-language functionality to our best-in-class product, we’re creating a more intuitive experience for our customers and expanding our total addressable market.”
Customers who already have Spanish set as the default language on their devices will not need to make any changes to access the new experience. Provided their DraftKings app is up to date, the platform will automatically display in Spanish, covering account registration, navigation, betting content, gameplay, promotions, access to customer support, and tools within the Responsible Gaming Centre.
The launch builds on comments made by chief executive Jason Robins during DraftKings’ third-quarter earnings call, where he revealed that the company had been working on Spanish-language functionality “for a little while”.
He added that development began as part of early preparations for the 2026 World Cup.
