Nebraska Launches National Self-exclusion Programme for Regulated Gaming
The initiative allows individuals to voluntarily exclude themselves from casinos and pari-mutuel wagering in Nebraska

The Nebraska Racing and Gaming Commission (NRGC) has officially launched the National Voluntary Self-Exclusion Programme (NVSEP) for regulated gaming in the US state of Nebraska.
The initiative allows individuals to voluntarily exclude themselves from casinos and pari-mutuel wagering in Nebraska, while also extending exclusions across other jurisdictions and gaming products supported by the NVSEP framework.
Through the online platform, participants can choose their preferred exclusion period, complete identity verification, and digitally sign and submit their information. The NVSEP website also provides access to both local and national problem gambling support resources.
Casey Ricketts, executive director of the Nebraska Racing and Gaming Commission, said:
“The NRGC is excited to join the growing number of regulators coming together to strengthen player protection in the industry as part of the NVSEP platform.
“We are committed to improving Responsible Gaming tools and helping individuals and families affected by problem gambling. By participating in idPair’s national programme, we are lowering barriers to help and providing support that extends beyond state lines.”
The NRGC said its participation in NVSEP reflects broader efforts across the US gaming sector to enhance responsible gambling protections and improve access to self-exclusion tools through a coordinated national approach.
