Sportradar Partners with Brazil's Ministry of Finance to Enhance Sports Betting Integrity

Sportradar has entered into a partnership in Brazil with the Ministry of Finance to focus on sports betting and gaming integrity.

The collaboration with the Ministry’s Secretariat of Prizes and Bets (SPA) aims to assist the SPA’s technical staff in implementing the authorization, inspection, and sanctioning processes for online operators.

At the core of this Technical Cooperation Agreement (ACT) will be Sportradar’s Integrity Services, which will report any suspicious activities and provide strategic guidance to address these issues.

Additionally, Sportradar plans to offer education and training to SPA staff to improve their ability to monitor match-fixing in Brazil.

Régis Dudena, Secretary of Prizes and Betting and the Ministry of Finance spokesperson overseeing the partnership, stated:

“The partnership with Sportradar will be an important tool to combat a major threat to the fixed-odds betting market, which is the risk of manipulation of sports results.”

Felippe Marchetti, Sportradar’s manager for integrity programs, emphasized the significance of this initiative in promoting fair play.
