Gordon Moody to Open Flagship Residential Treatment Centre in Redditch
Located at Gordon Moody House on Cedar Park Road, the centre will provide comprehensive residential treatment programmes.
Gordon Moody has announced the upcoming opening of its new flagship residential treatment centre in Worcestershire, scheduled for November 25, 2024. This facility marks a significant expansion of the organisation’s efforts to help individuals suffering from severe gambling-related harm.
The centre will provide comprehensive residential treatment programmes. These programmes integrate therapeutic techniques with holistic recovery methods, aimed at addressing the root causes of gambling harm and equipping individuals with the tools to rebuild their lives.
The official opening ceremony will take place from 10:00am to 3:00pm and will feature guided tours of the facility, presentations from Gordon Moody's senior leadership team, and inspiring testimonials from former service users.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony will be conducted by former professional footballer Steve Bull, and attendees will have the chance to engage with key stakeholders in gambling harm prevention.
In addition to the new centre, Gordon Moody has recently introduced a gambling first aid training programme. This initiative equips individuals with the knowledge to identify and respond to signs of gambling-related harm in friends, family members, or colleagues.
