BoyleSports Launches 'D20 for £20' Charity Challenge at the World Grand Prix
The 'D20 for £20' Charity Challenge will see BoyleSports contribute £20 ($26.78) for every double 20 scored during the week-long event, taking place from October 7-13 at Leicester's Mattioli Arena.

BoyleSports, the proud sponsor of the Professional Darts Corporation's World Grand Prix, has unveiled an exciting new charity initiative for this year's tournament. The 'D20 for £20' Charity Challenge will see BoyleSports contribute £20 ($26.78) for every double 20 scored during the week-long event, taking place from October 7-13 at Leicester's Mattioli Arena.
The unique double-start format of the BoyleSports World Grand Prix, which requires players to begin and end each leg with a double, makes this tournament an ideal platform for such a charitable initiative. The double 20, commonly known as 'double top,' is a favored target for players aiming to optimize their scoring potential.
Sharon McHugh, Head of PR and Sponsorship for BoyleSports, expressed her enthusiasm about the initiative, stating:
“We’re delighted to introduce our ‘D20 for £20’ Charity Challenge at this year’s BoyleSports World Grand Prix, which is always one of the most thrilling events on the darts calendar. The unique double-in format makes it a perfect stage to bring awareness to a range of charitable causes, and we can’t wait to see which player hits the most Double 20s and the positive impact it will have on their chosen charity.”
PDC Chief Executive Matt Porter echoed her sentiments, adding:
"BoyleSports are always supportive of charities during the World Grand Prix, and this is an innovative way for our players to support their chosen charity at this year's event."
The player who scores the most double 20s throughout the tournament will have the honour of selecting the beneficiary charity for the total donation. Several players have already shared their chosen charities, with defending champion Luke Humphries selecting Prostate Cancer UK and six-time champion Michael van Gerwen nominating the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
