Ladbrokes Launches New TV Campaign 'The Gaffer of All Accas'
This is the first campaign to be developed entirely by Entain Creative, the new in-house agency for the Ladbrokes and Coral brands.

Ladbrokes has unveiled its latest TV campaign, 'The Gaffer of All Accas', marking the first campaign to be developed entirely by Entain Creative, the new in-house agency for the Ladbrokes and Coral brands.
The 30-second ad humorously captures the highs and lows of being a football fan, from controversial referee decisions to disappointing player transfers, while showcasing Ladbrokes' industry-leading ACCA (accumulator) proposition. According to a press release, the ad represents a tonal shift, aiming for a more authentic, insight-driven connection with football fans.
The 'Gaffer of All Accas' campaign will be broadcast across TV, video-on-demand, and radio, and will be supported by a playful, season-long series of ads that react to the unpredictable nature of football.
The campaign was written by Alex Hazell, Ladbrokes' Creative Director, and directed by Ric Cantor through Friend Productions. Sophie Chordia heads production at Entain Creative, with media planning and buying handled by the7stars.
Anna Kochanska, Head of Ladbrokes Brand, emphasized the need for creativity in a competitive market:
“We need to find creative ways to be both 'offer-driven' and 'brand-led.' This campaign is a great example of that—entertaining, authentic, and insight-driven, with our proposition at its core."
Alex Hazell echoed this sentiment, stating:
"Football is at the heart of the Ladbrokes brand. Our customers love it, and so do we. This campaign is about speaking fans' language while not taking football too seriously.”
Anthea Angelis, Director of Entain Creative, concluded by highlighting the collaborative approach:
“In-house creative teams are no longer second to external agencies. This campaign shows that when marketers and creatives collaborate, it can rival the best work in the industry.”
