Action 24/7 Appeal Tennessee Licence Suspension
This is the first time a gambling licence has been suspended in the US.

Tennessee sportsbook, Action 24/7, has appealed a decision to have its gambling licence suspended, filing a lawsuit against the Tennessee Education Lottery in Davidson County Chancery Court.
The operator was handed the suspension last week following reports that there had been cases of credit and debit card fraud as well as proxy betting from its players’ accounts.
This is the first time a gambling licence has been suspended in the US.
The operator argues that the suspension is both “erroneous and arbitrary”, requesting the decision to be reversed.
“Despite the fact that there was no ongoing internal control failure at the time of the suspension, the license was suspended due to supposed ‘exigent circumstances’ which, to date, TEL cannot articulate,” Action 24/7 said.
The suspension was actioned in the lead up to the NCAA Basketball Tournament, meaning the business “has suffered and will continue to suffer irreparable harm”.
