The role

Bettor Faster is hiring a UX-led AI Product Designer for a permanent, full-time remote role, open to candidates in the UK and Northern Ireland only. Applications close on 8 November 2026.

The role combines established UX judgement with AI-assisted research, specifications and working prototypes for sportsbooks, casinos, media companies and game studios. Bettor Faster welcomes both strong mid-level designers and experienced seniors, shaping the role and package around the successful candidate. You will report to the Head of UX and work with UX/UI designers, business analysts, product managers, developers and QA across the UK and Ukraine. Apply through the employer's online form with your CV, portfolio and answers to its three questions. Candidates only: recruitment agencies will not be considered. The selection process includes an introductory call, a paid take-home task and a follow-up discussion with the Head of UX and senior team.

What you'll do

  • Build reusable context covering users, products, betting markets, quality standards and brand voice for AI models.
  • Co-author briefs and specifications with AI, critically assessing drafts and challenging weak or overcomplicated ideas.
  • Create and refine working prototypes through tools such as Claude, Cursor, Figma Make, v0 and Lovable.
  • Run competitor analysis, UX audits, AI-enabled persona work and discovery phases from kick-off to recommendations.
  • Collaborate with UI designers on final polish once the UX is agreed, and help improve the team's design processes.

What you'll bring

  • A UX or product-design background, with strong core design skills and proficiency in traditional tools such as Figma and Miro.
  • AI central to your existing workflow, with evidence that you can judge, challenge and improve its output.
  • Fluency with AI prototyping tools, or a demonstrated ability to learn new tools quickly.
  • Experience in competitor analysis, UX audits, persona work and discovery; ability to reframe problems rather than accept them at face value.
  • Self-motivation, proactive communication and clear presentation skills for senior client stakeholders.
  • Willingness to develop a deep understanding of sport, betting and gaming; prior sector expertise is desirable, not required.
  • UK or Northern Ireland residency: the role is not open to worldwide remote applicants.
  • Desirable: betting and gaming knowledge, experience designing AI-driven products, and agency or client-facing experience. Coding beyond what prototyping tools require is not necessary.

Benefits

  • Permanent, full-time employment with fully remote working and no office commute.
  • Flexible timings around agreed core hours, with performance judged on output and quality of thinking.
  • Salary based on level and experience, up to £75,000 for senior candidates; the same rate applies wherever in the UK you live.
  • A take-home recruitment task scoped to approximately three hours, paid at £150, with an alternative submission window available on request.
