THNDR Opens Platform To Third-Party Skill Content

THNDR, the skill gaming platform for iGaming operators, has opened its platform to third-party skill content, giving operators access to a growing catalogue of games through a single integration.

Third-party studios can now publish certified head-to-head titles through the THNDR Platform, reaching more than 25 live operator partners through their existing integrations.

THNDR said the move is intended to address demand from operators for additional skill gaming content while reducing compliance requirements for individual titles.

THNDR Skill Standard Applies Across Platform

Every title available through the platform, whether developed by THNDR or a third-party studio, must meet the THNDR Skill Standard.

Game Certification includes five checks before launch: platform integrity, a skillfulness evaluation, a rules and design audit covering exploits and bot defensibility, a full security audit and quality assurance.

Match Verification then covers every match played. THNDR’s patent-pending game verification technology generates cryptographic proof that a match played out as displayed on the front end, with players and operators able to check the proof themselves.

The company said applying the same standards to every title allows operators to add third-party skill content through their existing THNDR integration, without onboarding a new vendor or carrying out a separate compliance assessment for each game.

“Operators keep asking for more skill content, then the same two questions stop the deal: is this really skill, and can it clear compliance,”

said Desiree Dickerson, CEO and co-founder of THNDR and chairman of the Skill Games Committee within the IGSA (US).

“Opening the THNDR Platform to third-party studios lets us bring more games to market faster, with one integration operators can switch on. That is how you grow the skill market.”

Third-Party Studios Gain Access To Operator Network

For studios, THNDR said the platform addresses the challenge of building an initial player base for head-to-head games.

The company said titles published on the platform can access its operator network, where partners draw from the same player pool. THNDR reports more than 160 million games played across more than 25 live partners, with a 99.99% fill rate.

THNDR handles skill design, matchmaking, match verification and compliance, while integrations can go live within five to 10 days. Studios are responsible for building the games.

Operators can integrate directly with the THNDR Platform or access the catalogue through THNDR’s existing distribution partners. Both routes provide access to the certified catalogue.

Studios can apply to publish through THNDR.
