New Jersey Gaming Revenue Surges Nearly 12% in July
Driven by strong gains in sports wagering and online casino play, total gambling revenue across the Garden State reached $678.1m for the month.

New Jersey’s regulated gambling sector delivered an 11.9 per cent year-on-year increase in total gaming revenue for July, with casinos, racetracks, and their digital partners generating $678.1m.
The monthly growth was led by the sports wagering sector, while physical casino hotels continued to provide the single largest share of overall earnings.
Sector Breakdowns for July
Sports Wagering: Revenue surged 29.7 per cent year-on-year to reach $97m, up from $74.8m recorded in July 2025. Despite the strong monthly result, year-to-date sports betting revenue dipped 2.7 per cent to £609.9m.
Casino Hotels: Land-based gaming at Atlantic City’s nine casino properties brought in $304.2m, remaining the largest individual contributing vertical. Cumulative year-to-date casino win rose 3.1 per cent to $1.72bn.
Internet Gaming: iGaming win expanded 12 per cent year-on-year to $276.9m, up from $247.3m in the prior-year period. Total year-to-date iGaming win reached $1.87bn, marking a 14.5 per cent increase over the $1.63bn generated through the same period last year.
Year-to-Date Performance and State Taxes
Across all verticals, New Jersey’s total year-to-date gaming revenue reached $4.2bn, representing a 6.9 per cent increase compared to the $3.92bn reported during the same seven-month period in the previous year.
The state collected $92.2m in total gross revenue taxes during July, bringing cumulative tax receipts through July 2026 to $592.7m.
