Imagine Live Enters South African iGaming Market Following Regulatory Clearance

Live casino software developer Imagine Live has made its commercial debut in South Africa, enabling licensed local operators to integrate its portfolio of live dealer titles and bespoke studio solutions.

The market entry marks a significant milestone in the group’s compliance-driven international expansion strategy, establishing a footprint in one of Africa’s largest and fastest-growing regulated online gaming jurisdictions.

Beyond offering immediate access to its product suite, Imagine Live noted that securing market authorisation underpins its broader objective of establishing long-term commercial partnerships with South African brand operators seeking scalable live casino content.

Commenting on the geographic expansion, Martin Martirosyan, Group Chief Executive of Imagine Live, said:

Entering South Africa is an important step for Imagine Live, but the real opportunity is what comes next. We want to understand what local operators need, build strong partnerships and establish a lasting presence in the market.

Global Footprint & Operational Scale

  • Regulatory Portfolio: South Africa joins an international licensing footprint that includes the UK Gambling Commission (UKGC), Malta Gaming Authority (MGA), Romania's ONJN, and the Hellenic Gaming Commission (HGC).

  • Infrastructure Capabilities: Established in 2022, Imagine Live manages more than 200 tables across 18,000 square metres of custom-built studio facilities spanning Armenia, Romania, and Spain.

  • Technology Integration: Incorporates artificial intelligence across studio workflows to automate dealer performance monitoring, manage operational risk, and ensure game session consistency.
