PAGCOR Transfers PHP5.67bn in Dividends to Philippine Treasury
The amount represents 50% of PAGCOR’s annual net earnings, in line with the Philippines’ Dividends Law, which requires government-owned and controlled corporations to remit at least half of their yearly profits to the national government.

The Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) has transferred PHP5.67 billion (£77.7 million/$91.9 million) in dividends to the National Treasury following the regulator’s net earnings for the 2025 calendar year.
The amount represents 50% of PAGCOR’s annual net earnings, in line with the Philippines’ Dividends Law, which requires government-owned and controlled corporations to remit at least half of their yearly profits to the national government.
Dividend Presented at PAGCOR Headquarters
The dividend payment was formally handed over during a ceremony at PAGCOR’s corporate headquarters, where Bureau of the Treasury Deputy Treasurer Kenneth Ian Francisco received the cheque on behalf of the government.
PAGCOR stated that the latest remittance brings its cumulative dividend contributions since 2022 to PHP29.9 billion, highlighting the agency’s continued role in supporting public finances during the post-pandemic recovery period.
PAGCOR Reaffirms Government Support
PAGCOR Chairman and CEO Alejandro Tengco said the organisation remains committed to assisting the government despite ongoing global economic challenges.
“We remain committed to supporting the government and contributing meaningfully to programmes that improve the lives of Filipinos,” Tengco said.
He added that PAGCOR takes pride in its ongoing contributions to the Bureau of the Treasury and its role in supporting public service initiatives across the country.
Treasury Welcomes Additional Funding
Deputy Treasurer Kenneth Ian Francisco welcomed the dividend payment, describing it as an important source of fiscal support for government programmes and national development efforts.
Francisco noted that the additional funding would help strengthen the government’s financial resources, particularly as the country continues to respond to the wider effects of the global oil crisis and pursue economic and social development initiatives.
Continued Contributions to State Finances
PAGCOR’s latest remittance continues the regulator’s pattern of annual contributions to the Philippine government through dividend payments linked to its earnings.
The payment also reinforces the requirements of the country’s Dividends Law, under which state-owned corporations must remit at least 50% of their annual net income to the national government.
