Women In Nigeria Gaming Network Launches New Intake Following First Mentorship Cohort Success
The initiative is designed to support women building careers across Nigeria’s gaming industry, with a focus on professional development, leadership skills and increasing visibility for female talent across betting, lottery, casino and wider iGaming sectors.

Women in Nigeria Gaming (WiNG) Network has opened registrations for a second intake of its mentorship programme, following the successful completion of its inaugural leadership cohort.
The initiative is designed to support women building careers across Nigeria’s gaming industry, with a focus on professional development, leadership skills and increasing visibility for female talent across betting, lottery, casino and wider iGaming sectors.
WiNG, a professional network dedicated to advancing women in gaming, aims to strengthen female representation while creating opportunities for networking, career progression and industry exposure.
The first cohort launched with 15 mentees, with nine completing the full structured programme. Participants reported improved career clarity, increased confidence and self-awareness, stronger decision-making abilities and valuable industry insights. WiNG noted: “What started with 15 mentees evolved into a focused and impactful experience, with nine mentees completing the structured mentorship cycle.”
Mentorship Driving Leadership Growth
WiNG said the programme delivered both professional and personal development, encouraging greater confidence, visibility and ownership among participants.
“We saw a shift – from uncertainty to intentionality, from hesitation to visibility, and from passive learning to ownership. That is the true impact of mentorship,” the organisation said.
The network also acknowledged the role of mentors, highlighting their industry expertise and ongoing support as key to the programme’s success. It added that insights from the first cohort will be used to refine future editions, with Cohort 2 now open exclusively to members.
