PokerStars Expands Spanish Platform with Octoplay Slot Titles
The move adds Octoplay’s portfolio to PokerStars’ Spanish platform, building on an existing partnership between the two companies that is already live in the UK, Italy, and Ontario.

PokerStars has broadened its iGaming offering in Spain by integrating slot titles from supplier Octoplay, marking the developer’s entry into the country’s regulated online gambling market.
The move adds Octoplay’s portfolio to PokerStars’ Spanish platform, building on an existing partnership between the two companies that is already live in the UK, Italy, and Ontario. The rollout is part of PokerStars’ ongoing strategy to expand its catalogue in Spain’s regulated market.
Octoplay’s entry into Spain forms part of the supplier’s broader international distribution plan. The developer currently holds licences in multiple European markets, including the UK, Sweden, the Netherlands, Denmark, Belgium, Italy, Malta, Romania, and Spain, as well as in North American jurisdictions such as New Jersey, Michigan, and Ontario. In the United States, Octoplay’s titles have launched with multiple operators, with Eilers & Krejcik Gaming recently ranking the studio among emerging suppliers in the US market.
Spain’s regulated iGaming sector continues to attract content providers looking to expand operator platforms with international games. The integration of Octoplay titles with PokerStars reflects ongoing collaboration between operators and suppliers aimed at increasing distribution while meeting local licensing and compliance requirements.
Ralitsa Georgieva, CEO of Octoplay, said the launch marked a significant step in the company’s European expansion:
“Having already established a strong synergy with PokerStars in the UK, Italy, and Ontario, we are confident our games will resonate with Spanish players. This market entry underscores our commitment to growth and strengthening partnerships with leading operators,” she said.
